The Board of Directors has a term of 5 years. 25 of the total 29 Directors are elected by voting by sugarcane producers [members]. Except the Directors representing the backward classes, other than backward classs, economically backward classes and Nomadic Tribes, 21 Directors are elected by dividing entire area of operation of Karkhana into 5 groups (called Gat) . The Director representing cooperative societies is also elected by voting. This election is worked out as per the provisions in the co operative election act.
